Amazing hotel, great location!
The hotel was amazing, friendly staff as soon as we arrived. They were so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we knew where we are going and how to travel to different locations. The hotel is beautiful with such modern layout, clean facilities and great location so close to the water bus to travel.

What was the highlight of Palazzo Veneziano - Venice Collection
A lovely hotel in a terrific location with great staff
Great location - with some decent restaurants and bars close by. Comfortable room. Great bar. The staff were very responsive and helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. Good breakfast buffet.
We asked the hotel to organise a trip to Murano for us. The hotel arranged that. We took a private water taxi to a glass factory in Murano. The glass blowing demo was excellent. But afterwards we were subjected to very heavy selling pressure from one of the factory's sales people which took the shine off the trip. We ended up buying some items (just to be clear, we were not forced to buy anything) at what, in hindsight, seem to have been highly inflated prices. When we had finished in the factory shop we asked how to get to the main part of Murano but were told that there was nothing to see and we had to take a boat back to San Marco that the factory had organised (free of charge). So we ended up visiting Murano on another day using the public water taxi. It was worth it - Murano is quite pretty with some interesting buildings and some fascinating glassware shops. I raised all this with the hotel during our stay and they were very good about it. They got in touch with the factory manager to raise the points we had made. They also offered us a free bottle of Prosecco. I checked the Google reviews for the factory after we returned (I didn't know the name of the factory before we arrived for the tour) and it seems other folks had had similar experiences to us. I hope that going forward the hotel explains to guests that whilst the tour is free, the factory will be hoping to sell some glassware and the guests will be subjected to some heavy selling. The hotel should also point out that guests will be expected to take the free water taxi back to the main island which means they won't be able to see the rest of Murano.
